Great place to get some ice cream. They have multiple options to choose from. Some combinations I have not seen in other ice cream shops. I tried coffee with heath, PBJ strawberry and brownie chunk. All of them were good.

After a fun time at the park and since it was warm the Littles convinced me that Ice Cream was in order. Since they discovered this place during lunch I had a feeling we would be back. The inside is spacious and cool. The staff was friendly and also helpful with deciding on what to get. Both the Littles could not help themselves and went for cotton candy. I decided on a sample flight of ice cream. We all thoroughly enjoyed what we picked out and the Littles were kind enough to let me even have a few bites of what I picked. If you looking for some dessert 1895 homemade ice cream will not disappoint.

My wife and I had our first experience with 1895 ice cream on 7 Jul 2026 around 730pm. The space smelled like a waffle cone when we walked in. The store is pretty small but had a welcoming atmosphere (waffle cones are definitely welcoming) The young lady behind the counter was personable, and eager to help us. We asked several questions and she answered them all in stride. She offered us a sample of the most popular flavor they carry (sugar cookie butter) My wife ended up getting a scoup of Nutella Cheesecake and I picked the snickers flavor. Both our selections were soft and balanced well. The price is a little high but the quality of the ice cream warrants it. This is the kind of local establishment that is easy to support - atmosphere - feeling welcome and valued as a customer - and high quality ice cream. It's a great combination. I look forward to my next visit.

Highly recommend! The ice cream is the perfect consistency - soft and creamy. The waffle cones are also homemade and worth the upcharge. The cookie butter is their best selling flavor for good reason. I can't wait to go back to try the rest!
