The Story
Step into a true blast from the past with vintage jukebox tunes and a lively 1950s aesthetic. This iconic diner is a must-visit for its atmosphere and delicious food. Don't miss out on their thick, creamy milkshakes, like The Elvis or the Shake of the Day.

If you're looking for a classic Route 66 diner experience, this place is a must-visit! Loved the retro atmosphere. The highlight of our meal was definitely the milkshakes. We tried The Elvis and the Shake of the Day – Mangonado, and both were absolutely delicious. Thick, creamy, and packed with flavor. For food, we ordered the 66 Burger and Fish & Chips. The burger was juicy, the fish & chips were crispy flaky and served with generous portions. Great food, amazing shakes, friendly service, and a fun vintage vibe. We'll definitely be back!❤️

An amazing retro experience! 4.5 stars if I could. The place looks incredible, it truly feels like stepping back into a classic retro diner. The initial welcome at the door wasn't the greatest, but the waitress who actually served us was absolutely sweet and kind. Great atmosphere and excellent food—we tried the steak and the chicken ranchero, and both were delicious. I really loved it here!

Absolutely loved our experience at 66 Diner! 🍔 Total blast from the past! Sitting there drinking a milkshake gave me such a nostalgic 1950s diner feel- the whole place has the coolest retro aesthetic. The food was so good! I ordered the Stew Burger and my boyfriend got the Texas Chili Burger; both were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was super fun and classic, and the service was friendly from start to finish. P.S. — definitely get a shake! My favorite is vanilla with peanut butter and Oreos. 🤍

Really solid staple in iconic building. Really delicious food here but more of classic diner stables with New Mexico twist. Decor is amazing with pez and signs (defs a good stop for tourists). Staff was super kind and food came fast. Small parking lot (as expected) as we missed part of the lot is quick right up the hill. Overall enjoyed the turkey melt with green chiles (ok) and country fried steak (really good). Large portions and lots of history- recommend.
