The Story
ADD Drug has served Athens’ Five Points neighborhood for generations — part pharmacy, part gift shop, part lunch counter where a fountain Coke and a sandwich still cost less than a downtown parking spot.

This is a review of the lunch counter not the pharmacy. The menu is vast and way bigger than I expected. The food is fresh and delicious. I had the slaw dogs, tots and a coke zero and it was around $9 with tax. The prices are great the service is fast and friendly and the atmosphere is that ofca small town lunch counter. I will definitely be back.

Old school drug store counter with great breakfast, for less than $6.00 including the tip, I had the breakfast sandwich with Ham, scrambled egg & cheese on sourdough bread with some sweet tea. Note: eggs are served fried unless otherwise requested. This is a great neighborhood find right in Five Points.

I was in town for a work seminar and ended up eating at the lunch counter two days in a row. The service here is top notch. On the second day, my waitress, Holland, learned my name! Everyone is so nice and friendly, especially the woman who runs the cash register. Both days I was there I saw her assist two different elderly customers into the store, and she made sure they had a seat at the lunch counter. I also unexpectedly found some adorable small gifts, and it was such a nice surprise to get some early Christmas shopping done! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.
