Cute little shop. Lots of different flavors and great service. We got 4 ice creams in a waffle cone and they were all very tasty. Lots of different things to see and explore. Currently there’s a lot of construction in that area, which might make it hard to find but it’s worth the stop.

I went to Alexander's with a group of 21 people after leaving the courthouse from being able finalize the adoption of our 3-year-old. We all went there to celebrate and gave them advanced notice that we would be there. They gave us permission to bring in a celebratory cake which was a big plus and I greatly appreciate it. I will say the ice cream and food were good and fairly priced. The overall atmosphere of the business is nice. The reason I am only giving two stars is due to the staff being extremely rude. My entire group were paying customers. When I was placing my order, the staff had a very sour face and made it seem as if it was a giant inconvenience that I was placing an order. The staff kept telling us that we would have to use less tables because they were expecting a lunch rush. We were using a normal amount of tables for our group size. We are kind people and squeezed in to reduce tables. While we were eating, the staff made several comments about us trying to hurry up to leave because they were expecting the lunch crowd. They were still bringing food orders out at that time. Due to having a celebration, we had gifts to give to our adopted child. The staff asked us not to give gifts so that we could clear out. Again, we were taking a normal amount of time to eat and were paying customers. We did not honor the request to not give the gifts because the entire group had taken time out of their schedule to celebrate the occasion. However, in order to assist the staff and speed things up for them, I began clearing the tables of trash and stacking plates, etc. As soon as the gifts were given, we began to leave. One of the staff members came over to where I had consolidated and stacked all the dirty dishes. The staff member proceeded to complain that we had killed their lunch crowd because people "might" have looked in and saw a large group and decided to go elsewhere. During the time that we were there, I did not see anyone walking past looking in and deciding to go the other way. Their "lunch rush" consisted of 3-4 construction workers and about 5 other people that came in shortly before we left. I would not recommend going there unless they get some new staff members.

You can't beat the atmosphere or prices. Old world ice cream is a common staple here. The lunch & dinner menu offers something for everyone, especially the kids. The new garlic parmesean cheese curds are perfect. They're lightly breaded and explode with flavor.

Alexander's was a very sweet little ice cream shop. The building holds so much charm. The kids loved the ice cream and they also have fun sodas.
