On a Sunday afternoon, we decided to try this ice cream shop instead of a few other local options. I knew beforehand that they served Hershey’s Ice Cream rather than homemade ice cream, which I was completely fine with. Because of that, I also expected the prices to be a little lower than some of the local creameries, and they definitely were. Under $11 for two smalls (2 scoops each). When we walked in, I immediately noticed the flavor boards on the left. I really appreciated that they clearly identified the gluten-free flavors, as I’m gluten sensitive. I also have a newer peanut sensitivity, and while I understand it’s ultimately my responsibility to ask questions, I didn’t realize the menu only labeled gluten-free options and I forgot peanut is in some ice creams. My fault! It would be cool though to include symbols for additional common allergens. I also liked that they offered toppings for just $0.95. I didn’t end up adding any because I ordered a small cup, and it felt like there wouldn’t be much room left for toppings. My fiancé ordered a sherbet, and he really enjoyed. The shop is in a cute location, but our favorite part had to be the color-changing spoons! They started out pink and turned purple when the cold ice cream touched them, a fun little touch that made us smile. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back!

Good place. I was a little heartbroken that they didn't make their own ice cream I could have sworn I read that they were making their own ice cream and it was in house, homemade. Hershey's just seems like I can get that in any ice cream shop. So same flavors, same same. Prices of the cones are a little more expensive than other places, but it's to offset that .95 Cent unlimited toppings thing.... So people who dont like or get toppings pay an inflated price. However, for those who do like unlimited toppings.....95 cents for u limited is unbeatable so 4 Stars it is. Good luck Apponaug. Therefore, for people like me who are looking for rich, homemade stuff it probably won't be your favorite, but for people who love toppings this will absolutely be the number one ice cream place for you.

It was an amazing experience. Perfect for a summer day especially with a delicious cotton candy milkshake. My ice cream scooper Charlotte was amazing and super cheerful! I 100% recommend!

If you haven’t discovered Apponaug Village Creamery yet, you’re missing one of Warwick’s best hidden gems. The ice cream is fantastic, the atmosphere is welcoming, and every visit feels like a treat for the whole family. What really sets this place apart is the staff. Everyone is friendly and helpful, but Charlotte is hands down the best! She’s always smiling, takes the time to make every customer feel welcome, and is amazing with the little ones. Her positive attitude and genuine kindness make every visit even better. Great ice cream, great people, and great service. Highly recommend!
