  Stopped by for some delicious ice cream. They have a small but great selection of flavors. Cool design, looks like a classic ice cream shop but also modern and clean. Super friendly service and pricing was also very reasonable.

  We had the best experience at Arethusa Farm Dairy in New Haven! After spending the day exploring the Yale Peabody Museum, we wanted to finish it off with something sweet, and this was the perfect spot. Violet attended us and was absolutely amazing, so kind and welcoming. She offered us ice cream samples, which made choosing even more fun. My son accidentally dropped his ice cream, and without hesitation, she offered him a new one. That level of kindness truly meant so much to us.The ice cream was delicious, the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. Such a great place to end a family day out. We’ll definitely be back! 💛🍦

  Anytime I go away for a few days I always look for an ice cream shop just to get a little fix...so to speak. So while staying in New Haven I happened to come across this cute little no frills shop. The service here is great and the staff is friendly. Prices aren't too bad either for the amount of ice cream you get. They don't have a large selection so it really isn't too hard to choose a flavor. And they only offer one sample per person. You can get your ice cream in several sized cups and cones. I tried the chocolate, butter pecan and coffee and they all tasted great. The coffee flavor I think was the best one I tried. Overall, I think I found my spot to go to anytime I plan on visiting New Haven. If you like simple ice cream shops then this is the place for you.

  Beware all flavors I tried (4 different one) were pretty flat on flavor and sweetness was very non existent, don’t get me wrong I don’t like super sweet, but all flavors were under sweetened. The coffee flavor was very potent which I normally enjoy, but this had almost no sweetness so tasted like black coffee even with all of the milk from ice cream.
