I love this place. It is one of the few places that I can actually eat the ice cream without it upsetting my stomach. The flavors are great. I had the mango + li hi Mui ,it was great had the perfect amount of flavor and it was all made with pure ingredients. They also have some really good vegan options if you can’t or don’t want dairy. I have tried some of the other flavors and I feel like you really can’t go wrong with any of the choices. The service was good , they are very efficient. Which helps because they are usually busy as it is a small space. They definitely make it work.

This is located right at the centre of Paia. We arrived just before closing time. We ordered the dutch chocolate, mango strawberry guava with li hing mui and lilikoi butter scoops. The ice cream was so rich, creamy and delicious. My wife remarked mango strawberry guava as the best ice cream she has ever had. The flavors were unique and very accurate. We would love to come back here.

As a vegan traveler and a husband requiring gluten-free options, it’s often a struggle to find rich, creamy vegan ice cream options that aren’t just sorbets. Artisan Ice Cream in Pa’ia was a game-changer for us ! I was thrilled with their vegan Double Chocolate with Cocoa Nibs — it was indulgent, with a deep chocolate flavour and the perfect crunch from the nibs. My husband enjoyed the Coconut Coffee flavor, which had the ideal balance of coconut’s creaminess with a coffee kick. The young lady who served us was so welcoming and helpful, making our experience even better. I’ve heard that other ice cream spots may have better tasting traditional ice cream, as for vegan options, Artisan matched our expectations. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious vegan treat!
