I love the idea of the diner BUT!!!! I have never in my life seen such a dirty place to eat! I was in disbelief. Clearly nothing has been scrubbed or even wiped in YEARS!! Ive been three times now and each time i was so disgusted with the u uncleanliness!! AND each time ants were crawling all over our table, on my seat and up the wall. Each time, and brought it to their attention which i was told “wow its early for those guys this year” Caked on food on the walls, floors, diner counter, the floor is filthy. Come on folks! Thats disgusting!! The food was always so burnt i couldn’t even eat it.

Really cool, no nonsense Greek diner in a 1950s-built room with a fabulous view of Mt. Mansfield. This place seems to have more of a local vibe, which us tourists enjoyed. The service was excellent, we didn’t feel rushed to leave at all. Our waitress was very sweet. The food was really good; I got the chicken Philly cheese steak (“the best in Colchester”) and she got the Little Athenian breakfast. The muffin was delicious and the pancake was fluffy and rich; coffee was strong and delicious. We would most likely come back here.

this place is fantastic!!!! my son and i try to go out to eat often. we’ve been to some places that are very expensive and suppose to be elegant dinning. athens beat those places by far!!! it was very affordable,excellent service,food and atmosphere!!! very friendly place i would recommend to anyone!!! thank you for a great experience athens ❤️

The reviews on this place did not disappoint. Our service was good and the food was delicious. I got the meat skillet and my wife got the vermonter corned beef hash skillet. Mine was excellent and my wife enjoyed hers as well. It's not a super big place and got busy quick but there was no wait to get in when we arrived. Definitely stop to check this place out.
