The screen door clapped softly behind us as we stepped into the sweetest retro dream, filled with the cheerful hum of happy folks and the scent of sugar. Piles of homemade goodness, in every color imaginable, waited like glistening jewels under the parlor lights, promising pure, simple joy. Each creamy scoop tasted like a perfect summer afternoon, a true slice of Americana right there on Commerce Street.

Drove over from Natchez for an ice cream. Limited flavors. NO Cones. Cheap bowls & spoons that didn't work well with ice cream. Absolutely none of the exciting premium flavors from the New Orleans ice cream company. Nice young man who served fair portions. Over all a bit of a disappointment.

Ice cream was good .. service was good. But this place does not look like the picture. It is a small walk in on the side of Big River pizza and things restaurant. There is outside seating shared with Big River.

Absolutely the best place ever!! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The best ice cream in town, will definitely be coming in more !!
