We came here yesterday and it was easily the highlight of our day! I brought my nephew with me and we wanted to try a couple of different flavors, so we left with a pint of Chocolate and a pint of Maracuyá, which is passion fruit. Wow, just wow! Both flavors were absolutely delicious, rich, creamy and full of authentic flavor. You can really taste the quality. The biggest surprise for us was the ice cream cones. They are huge, super fresh, really crunchy and absolutely delicious. And the best part is that they are free! My nephew and I were both so impressed by how good they were. The ladies working there were also incredibly sweet and friendly. They provided great customer service and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Such a great place to stop for a treat while exploring Little Havana. We really enjoyed our experience, and those two pints did not last long! 🍦

Azucar was one of our favorite stops in Miami. It’s a small, busy shop that feels more like an old-school neighborhood ice cream parlor than a tourist attraction. They have a huge selection of unique flavors, and they’re happy to let you sample before deciding. Everything we tried was excellent, but the flavors that seem unique to Azucar are definitely worth getting. The Cafe Con Leche was especially good if you like coffee flavored ice cream. The line was pretty long when we visited, but it moved surprisingly fast, so it wasn’t a big deal. What I appreciated most was that it felt more authentic than some of the other ice cream places in the area. It was popular, but it didn’t have that overly touristy, gimmicky feel. Just really good ice cream, unique flavors, and a fun local atmosphere. Would absolutely go back.

Best stop on Calle Ocho. Azucar Ice Cream is a Little Havana institution and the homemade Cuban flavors are the whole point. Abuela Maria (guava, cream cheese, Maria cookies) is the number one seller and it lives up to it. Cafe con Leche and Mantecado are close behind, and there is a good spread of sorbets if you want something lighter, including a water based piña. A few honest notes. The place is tiny and popular, so there is often a line and not much seating beyond a window bench. It is a touristy corner, no way around that. But the ice cream is genuinely excellent, the pricing includes tax so what you see is what you pay, and the location could not be better, one door from Domino Park. Family friendly, accepts Apple Pay and contactless. Come hungry, come patient, leave happy. Easy five stars.

We had a great experience at Azúcar Ice Cream Company. The ice cream is absolutely delicious, and our favorite flavor is the “Mantecado”, highly recommend it! The service was excellent as well. The girls working there were very friendly and attentive, which made the visit even better. The place itself is very cool and has a great vibe. We’ll definitely be coming back
