One of our favorite things about a road trip is the freedom to stop at interesting places along the way. We drove past this amazing shop and did a uturn so we could check it out. It was incredible! It was fun to walk around and reminisce about the candy from our youth and try new things. They have a great selection of sugar free treats as well.

A must-stop if you're in the area. The building is HUGE with a ton of options for your sweet tooth. Their classic meltaways are amazing, and they have wholesale options here or a wall where you can mix your own bag. They have amazing options like chocolate-covered pretzels, nuts, chips, and more. You can easily spend an hour here shopping for unique, locally made candies. Pricing is reasonable and you can buy some wholesale.

An absolute treasure of Nebraska. I was in Omaha for a quick visit but had to get to Baker’s so I could pick up some candy for work.

It's been a few years since I've been here and wow did they expand. The meltaways chocolates are the star of the show and they have plenty of all varieties available. They even let you create your own variety at no extra charge. Old fashioned candies, modern candies, it looks like they have them. Good quality popcorn too. We also saw local beef there.
