The Story

Beal's has been churning in Gorham since 1947, and the maple walnut tastes like the state itself. Frappes come thick; the line out the screen door in July moves faster than it looks.

Teaberry 5 ⭐ That's a flavor that can't be explained properly. Raspberry ice cream huge plank slabs of chocolate and a zing of light spice at the end. AT LEAST TRY IT! Ginger 🥱 2 ⭐ Phoning 🤙 it in. Pathetic ginger flavor or zing. No trash 🗑️ 🚮 bins up front No water 🌊 💦 cups for drink or splash off sticky hands. Bench seating hasn't been hosed off in quite a while. The customers? Wow, it's like they're wooden people from a Twilight Zone episode. no personality. Teaberry was the only thing that saved this visit.

We've been living out of state for a while and it was a great treat to stop in for their Teaberry ice cream! Love & miss it. 😀 Good stuff Beal's!!!

This ice cream stand has stood the test of time. I'll gladly wait in line and pay for my cones, sundaes, and especially the resee's peanut butter cup sundae -- it's out of this world. I get it every time. It makes resees run in your blood, so good. The staff is high school girls who for the most part are wonderful. Best ice cream stand around! Nice job Beals.
