What's not to love about this place!? This place is a time machine for prices. I just fed two adults for $11 plus a tip. It was so delicious. My husband had the chicken sandwich which is a little bit of a small patty, but he liked it a lot and I had the cheeseburger. The bun is giant, the burgers giant but it's a Smashburger and that edge is perfectly crispy. I had it the regular way, which is mustard, lettuce and pickle and it was the perfect compliment to the burger. We are staying in town for a couple days and we will be back here to eat every day. Oh yeah, and we had the onion rings and I loved them because they were crispy on the outside and almost creamy on the inside because they were so perfectly cooked. By the way, cash only and they Take your order at the car and tell you it could be 25 minutes but it may be 10 or 15.

This is a summer spot you don’t want to miss! The best simple smash burger I’ve probably ever had; and cheeseburgers are my favorite food. You can’t tell, but it was the size of my face 🤣 Amazing shakes and dipped cones also!

Belew's is a long standing local tradition around Jonathan Creek. Some of the best smash burgers I've ever had that remind me of the drive in burgers I had when I was a kid. Their shakes are absolutely delicious with real fruit. I especially love their banana shakes with chunks of real bananas. Service can sometimes be slow due to the crowd, especially on the weekends, but the car hops are always nice and polite and strive to serve well. They use a lot of college and high school kids for their car hops so you are contributing back to the community. There is outdoor seating available, or you can sit in your car like the old drive in days. I love the fact that their menu includes tax on all their prices. No estimating or guessing what the total is going to be. Just add your tip and know exactly how much you need to pay. But make sure you have cash or a check. No credit cards or debit cards are accepted. They do have an ATM in the parking lot if you don't carry cash. The only thing I hate, is that they are only open seasonally. Usually April through September. But having a cabin really close I sure would like to have them available during the winter months. It's been this way since at least the 70's when the Belew family owned it, and it seems to work well for them. I just wish it was available in late fall when I'm spending a lot of time at the lake. The "new" owners are definitely living up to the expectations that the Belew family started when they were running the business. One of the few family owned eateries that have changed hands without changing what made them successful. This is a must try if you like drive in food and are in the area.

They are very nice and the food is pretty good! I like the Chuckwagon sandwich. Wife and daughter like the corn dogs they say they are the best! Onion rings are really good too. So is the Chocolate malts! The food is cooked to order so it is hot and fresh. We drive about 40 miles to eat here!! Cash only!! Also the prices are pretty good too! Food is hit and tasty!!
