  One of my dear friends, and I had dinner last evening, and she surprise me with a gift of dark chocolate mints from this store! She saying their praises. She lives in that area and says she uses different items from this store as gifts all the time. I’m so glad that I was a lucky recipient last night. These mints are melt in your mouth. Delicious! I have the dark chocolate mint and, one mint is the perfect size for a sweet treat. I love to support a locally owned small business, and although I’ve never been in the shop itself, you can definitely tell that the items they sell are made with love because the quality is so good. If you’re up in that area and looking for a sweet treat and want to support a locally own small business, you need to check them out. I’ll definitely make sure to do so when I’m in that area and will enjoy eating the rest of the box!

  Great little candy shop with large assortment of homemade and domestic candy options. Feels a bit like See’s candy in terms of chocolate. Got a pound of assorted chocolates and mix of interesting gummies. Chocolate covered blueberries were quite pricey (4 clusters for $7.50). Great local option.

  Every fall I make the trip from PA to Bomboys just for their sour gummy pumpkins. I just went and grabbed a few bags and they must’ve switched suppliers or recipes, because they’re not sour anymore and honestly taste pretty bad. Super disappointed.

  Total 4 stars based on price (2.5 stars), selection options (4.5 stars), and taste of homemade chocolates (4.5 stars). It’s a bit pricy. Also I wish there were little samples or gift for buyers. My first time to visit this store. I’ve visited couple of other candy stores in the past. This place was not like huge branch commercial candy places but rather cozy and unique. I loved the atmosphere. Store was neat and well decorated. Candies were arranged in a way that it is easy for customers to browse and pick what they want. I also loved how they also had some plush toys for sale. They had from wrapped candies to homemade fudge. I haven’t tried but it appears that right across from the candy store there is also Bomboy’s ice cream store, which I would also try. When you visit this store, make sure also to stop by at the nearby lighthouse, which is beautiful!! Overall, my experience was good. Likely visit again when I am in the area next time!
