I stopped by this chocolate ice cream shop recently and had a really good experience. The store was very clean and well organized, and the staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. The chocolate ice cream was rich, creamy, and full of flavor without being overly sweet. They also had a nice variety of toppings and flavors to choose from. What I appreciated most was how reasonable the prices were for the quality and portion sizes. It’s hard to find a place that offers both great taste and affordable prices, but this shop definitely does. I’ll definitely be coming back again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious dessert in a clean and comfortable place.

My wife and I came here from Oshkosh to celebrate our anniversary by having an ice cream party. We had a young server who was a super-duper scooper… Then the party-pooper scooper emerged from the back with a terrible, rude personality and told our original scooper that we were not allowed to purchase more than two flavors in the pint containers we wanted. We asked if the price was the same for one flavor or ten flavors, and the party-pooper scooper informed us that the price for a pint container was the same no matter what but tried to limit the number of flavors we could put in that pint container to two. She then added we could sample as many flavors as we would like. We didn’t want to sample 10 different flavors, we wanted to pay for 10 different flavors. Our logic was that if the price was the same for a pint it shouldn’t matter how many flavors are put in that pint cup. We just wanted a little bit of several different flavors in the pint cup. The end result was we didn’t get the flavors we wanted, and several other potential customers who were behind us in line left after seeing the party-pooper scooper’s attitude during the whole encounter. It would’ve been worth the hour plus drive if it weren’t for the one employee making such a big deal about how many flavors could go into a pint container. Very disappointing, but kudos to the young employee who understands what good customer service is all about.

Disappointed that they moved the location from Parmenter St. However, the first time since this placed open it was a nice environment. Very clean and welcoming staff. The ice cream was good. We went two more times in a matter of a month or so… staff was extremely rude. Their facial expressions shows they don’t like their job. My 7 year old asked what comes on a sundae and the gentlemen behind the counter moved his neck and rolled his eyes before he explained. I appreciate staff for giving my children an extra scoop of ice cream- HOWEVER if it’s a cone and it’s tipping over and dripping I would caution that you don’t over fill it so it falls over and drips everywhere. It was a mess. It was by far the worst experiences we have had from a Chocolate Shoppe.
