A fun little stop on a road trip from Great Falls to Colorado Springs. This showed up on the Atlas Obscura app and, being a lover of ice cream, I knew I had to stop. My shake was creamy and delicious, as was my mom's root beer float. Our burgers were perfectly cooked and the famous Chugwater chili made for some excellent chili cheese fries. Absolutely worth the short detour!

Good old timey soda fountain with solid burgers and fries. Old fashioned sodas are good as well. A little slow service but they do their best.

I love this place! We stopped by for lunch today, and it was delicious. The entire place is super cute and well done. They even make their own soda! And the service was just as good as the food. It’s worth the drive.

Stop here if you are passing through Chugwater! Cute historic soda shop. Great food and service. Good menu selections with options for malts. Portions are large. Love their fries, very unique!
