The old screen door creaked a welcome as you stepped into Classic Cones, a sweet haven right off the main street in Fairbury. Sunlight streamed through the windows, making the checkered floor glow and promising a sugary escape from the summer heat. With a cone piled high with creamy goodness in hand, you knew this was a little slice of yesteryear, perfectly preserved and ready to enjoy.

This is a great small town experience. Friendly people, Lisa and Gloria make you feel like they've known you forever. They have some fantastic soft serve ice cream, malts are excellent ! They'll make you a Banana Split "Your Way" if you feel like not going traditional. If you find yourself in the vicinity of Fairbury Nebraska, do yourself a favor and stop by Classic Cones for a delicious treat. Better hurry as they close for the season after Sunday August 25th

Quality ice cream at great value. True hometown customer service. Lisa knows my order even when it may be a couple weeks between visits. Friendly and a great asset to Fairbury. Always get excited when they reopen each spring.

The best ice cream in town! Cute little old fashioned ice cream shack with picnic table searing outdoors with nice views of historic houses and part of the downtown. Keep this place open and get your kids out of the house to get some sun and ice cream stained mouths!
