If you know, you know — Clemie’s Ice Cream is the unofficial sign that summer in Rhode Island is almost here. The experience starts before you even walk inside. You can smell the sweet waffle cones being made fresh outside the shop, and honestly, that alone is enough to put you in a good mood. It instantly feels nostalgic, welcoming, and like the perfect New England summer evening. The shop itself is spacious, bright, and incredibly clean — ideal whether you’re stopping in for a quick treat, meeting friends, or bringing a larger group or family outing. Every visit feels organized and efficient, even when they’re busy. One of my favorite things is their rotating flavors of the month. They always seem to have something fun and seasonal. This late March visit featured Cadbury Egg and Lucky Charms, which perfectly captured that early-spring excitement. You can truly taste the quality — the ice cream is rich, fresh, and clearly homemade. Customer service here deserves special recognition. There are always several staff members working, and every single one is friendly, patient, and happy to help with samples or recommendations. The team genuinely looks like they enjoy being there, and that energy makes the experience even better. During warmer months, the outdoor seating is perfect for lingering a little longer, enjoying the weather, and soaking up that classic ice-cream-stand atmosphere. Whether it’s a planned date night, a family tradition, or just a random Tuesday craving, Clemie’s has become one of our favorite go-to spots. Consistently great ice cream, wonderful staff, and a place that simply feels like summer. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend!

The texture here is incredibly dense, smooth, and genuinely creamy. The flavors aren't just sugary, they have a really clean, deep taste that shows the quality of how they make it. If you're trying to decide what to get, I highly recommend the butter brickle.

Easy 5/5! Stupid good ice cream. It's expensive, but the portions are share-able & the hand packed pints are maxed out *every* time. (No accident) I am genuinely pleased to give them money and support this business & their choices. I visit too often... Black raspberry Oreo should be a permanent flavor. Don't miss it if it's in season. Congrats. Will miss when leaving RI.

We drove by Clementine’s when we arrived in the area on Friday (they had already closed) and finally made it back by Saturday, thankfully since it was the last day of the season! It smelled delicious when we walked in. We all got waffle cones/bowls and got the mint Oreo, chocolate brownie, cookie dough and butter brickle. They were all fabulous!! Lots of locals were coming in while we were eating our ice cream to stock up on pints and quarts. When the locals are coming in you know it’s gotta be good. Highly recommend!
