The Story

The building on the Independence square housed the drugstore where a teenage Harry Truman swept floors and jerked sodas. Clinton's keeps the fountain going with phosphates, malts and a wall of presidential photographs.

Drove 30 minutes to come here, stood in line while looking at the menu. My son asked to use the restroom, they said it was only for customers. Assured them we were still making decisions but he knew what he wanted. They stated we’d have to pay first. Left and went to Palacana, where the service was the only thing better than the ice cream.

Glad we stopped. Friendly staff and great dessert options! We'll definitely be back on our next visit to the area.

Delicious birthday cake ice cream in a waffle cone!! Customer service was wonderful and I really appreciated the Zots watermelon candy recommendation. Would recommend when you need a pick me up!
