  Lisa and Tara were SO amazing. The shop has everything you could want. And the dairy free ice cream…OMG. It was so great to have an option for myself. Couldn’t recommend more!

  Wow!! I am 83 years old and brought my children and my grandchildren to Vermont for a few days from NJ. and PA. Nine of us in all. We stopped at the Cottage Toy and Candy Shop and were most pleasantly greeted by Lisa, the owner. She gave us the layout of the store and suggested that we have some of her Homemade Chocolate Chip cookies that had just come out of the oven and were still hot. Complementary, of course, and they were amazing. We spent over a half hour in the 2 floor store, that has just about everything you could want when it comes to toys, candy etc. etc. The store is fantastic, b

  My boyfriend and I visited this place while on a weekend getaway! We are so happy to have stumbled across this lovely little shop. It’s very nostalgic, the owner is the sweetest woman you’ll ever meet. It was his birthday and she made him a special birthday ice cream sundae! The cookies she bakes fresh every day for the customers is something I’ve never seen before. They were so delicious! Her shop has a little bit of everything, and everyone should stop by! 🥰❤️ we had the best time ❤️

  Oh my goodness this is the cutest shop! The shop owner was the absolute sweetest and the nicest person I’ve ever spoke with in any Store I’ve ever been to! my kids were greeted with treats when we walked in and they had fresh cookies as well!! Definitely a must stop for anyone with kids or adults wanting nostalgic toys or candy! I can’t say enough good things thank you again!
