As promised, they do have gluten-free ice cream and it tasted great. I told the server of my severe gluten allergy and she asked if I wanted the scoop sanitized. Red flag. I couldn't believe she asked such a question. I told her definitely and dismissed the question. After sitting down to enjoy my scoop of ice cream, I noticed a sign on the wall mixed in with a bunch of other signs. However, this one stated that the scoops were used in ALL flavors so if you have an allergy to please refrain from sampling or enjoying their ice cream. I was half way through my scoop. I immediately trashed the remainer and left. Woke at 3 am with severe symptoms of cross contamination. How hard is it to have a dedicated scoop for the few flavors of gluten-free ice cream?? They had 3 maybe 4 flavors that were gluten-free. 0 stars, do not recommend.

I stopped by because I'd heard this was supposed to have some of the best, creamiest ice cream around. They had about 12 flavors to choose from, and I decided to try the mystery flavor. To me, it tasted like cherry with a hint of almond extract, and maybe even a touch of pistachio. I ended up eating about half of it. It wasn't bad, but I personally wouldn't say it's the best ice cream around.

Love this super cute ice cream shop! We found this little treasure while exploring Elizabethton. We loved the service, atmosphere, and ice cream was so fresh and yummy.
