50 years in business for a reason! This is a throwback to going to the local corner and getting some ice cream. My group all got milkshakes. My Oreo shake was fantastic (and the Elvis add chocolate syrup seems to be the recommended "hack" and the person in my group said it was amazing. Do not sleep on this place! If you want a super delicious shake (they have Pepsi, hot dogs, and more) then this is THE PLACE!

Dairy Kastle is one of those local places that always seems to have a crowd. It’s a seasonal ice cream shop that closes during the winter, and it definitely feels like a Louisville favorite. When we arrived, it was so busy that there was barely anywhere to sit. Personally, I thought it was just regular ice cream, but there’s clearly something people really love about this place. The atmosphere was fun and lively. Worth stopping by at least once to experience it for yourself.

Always love taking a walk around Louisville to Dairy Kastle. The cake batter milkshake is super good! Affordable prices but limited seating and can be extremely slow with crowds but love it!

This place used to be worth the wait. My wife and I both orded a fat Elvis shake. I wondered why it didn't have much flavor, then I found out. All the bananas were just cut up and stayed at the bottom. Not as good as it was years ago.
