I came here specifically for the AI generated menu artwork, and I have to say, it did not disappoint. I spent several minutes admiring the menu before remembering I was actually there for the ice cream. Seriously though, it’s wild seeing people leave one star reviews because a small business used AI to make a menu. If you’re spending more time critiquing the graphics than enjoying the ice cream, you might be missing the point. As a fellow small business owner, I know every dollar counts. If using AI helps keep costs down while letting them focus on making great ice cream and serving customers, I’m all for it. The ice cream is fantastic, the staff is friendly, and somehow the AI generated menu didn’t change the taste of my sundae one bit. Imagine that. Also, most of this review may or may not have been written with AI. You’ll just have to live with that uncertainty.

Today was our first ever visit. We took our granddaughter from out of state for some ice cream after lunch. I’ve done some printing work for the owner for many years, but have never had the opportunity to give them a try due to where we live. Customer service was on point! Granddaughter got a chocolate soft serve cone, Fiancé got a coffee shake and I got a peanut butter shake. Granddaughter loved her cone, and the Fiancé and I could not stop talking about how amazing the shakes were. We have decided to make it a point to head here a few times a month for our “cheat treats!” Thank you for a wonderful first visit, and we look forward to many more!

I grew up going to this place and am very glad to see all the lovely memorabilia I loved as a kid on full display! The prices are shockingly low with high quality products. My one complaint is the fact the entire menu has been replaced by ai images of the products the honestly looked very unappetizing compared to the actual product :( I understand this is a small business that may not be able to afford an artist or photographer but it definitely soured my experience quite a bit

Well we have been a loyal DK patron and yesterday’s visit just raised the customer satisfaction gage even higher. To my disappointment DK was still waiting for a product order to be fulfilled by their supplier for one of my favorite ice cream treats - Coffee Yogurt Smoothie. No problem I chose a different flavor - Cherry. Let me just say WOW! It was outstanding! Now I have two (2) favorites depending on what my taste buds choose on our next visit. Thanks DK!
