Wonderful Soft environment. GREAT vibes. Ice cream taste fresh and real! I also had some pasta salad and a chocolate chip cookie I have been looking for, for weeks! Service was kind and punctual. My daughter loves ice cream and so do my wife and I. We will definitely be back. One of the best ice creams I had in a long time(Not to say others are not good this just taste like fresh real ingredients. 10/10***

The Dancing Dog is an absolute must-visit in Charleston! From the moment we walked in, we were charmed by the fantastic atmosphere—it's so vibrant, welcoming, and just a genuinely happy place to be. The decor is unique and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a casual lunch or a treat. The staff is truly what makes this place shine, though. They were so awesome—friendly, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about the food and the customers. Exceptional service all around! And the food? Phenomenal! I had the fried bologna sandwich and a side of fries, and it was pure comfort food perfection. The sandwich was perfectly prepared and so delicious, and the fries were crispy and seasoned just right. My wife got the smash burger with the pasta salad, and she hasn't stopped talking about how tasty it was. The burger was juicy, and the pasta salad was a fantastic, flavorful side. Whether you're there for the savory food or the famous ice cream, The Dancing Dog delivers an unforgettable experience. We can't wait to go back!

This place is so cozy and clean the staff is so sweet and Robert at the register is so soft spoken and kind absolutely a spot to stop in at. The food was also amazing the smash burgers are the best in the area and the chicken tenders with fries were to die for its the type of breading everyone loves.

Excellent food and service! The smashburger has a wonderful, tasty skirt with magnificent flavors. I chose the shoestring fries which were also delicious. Great, locally owned place! You cannot go wrong here.
