    As someone from the dairy state I’ve had a lot of ice cream, but I was looking for something that was a staple of Pittsburgh. We tried Millie’s and it was ok, but off (and the flavor I chose was the better selection from the ones our family picked). I’m happy to say Dave & Andy’s redeemed our ice cream experience in Pittsburgh. Peanut Butter Swirl was the flavor I chose and it did not disappoint. Although not a ton of seating, we were able to grab a table and the bench. I also was glad to find it was open late as being on vacation it’s nice to find someplace to go after a later dinner post tou

    Honestly it was just fine. I had heard a lot of online chatter about this place reopening so I was excited to try it. The ice cream shop itself is cute with couple of tables inside and also a couple of benches on the outside. On a nice cold evening like the day I went, it's honestly better to just sit outside and enjoy your ice cream. I got the chocolate and Cherry and the cookie dough and the pricing was actually quite good for two scoops. The ice cream itself was not anything special.
