We recently stopped by DickieJo’s Burgers. The restaurant has a really cute retro diner vibe and the atmosphere is fun and upbeat. The ordering setup is counter service where you order, then pick up your own food when it’s ready. Service was fine overall, but nothing especially memorable. The food itself was a bit of a mixed bag. The burgers were not great and the fries were okay, not bad but not particularly standout either. One highlight was the shake. It was excellent and definitely the best part of the meal. The biggest downside for us was the price. For two burgers (one regular and one double), fries, and a shake—with no other drinks—the bill came to about $40. For a burger joint with counter service, that felt pretty steep for what we got. Overall, while the atmosphere is cute, this one was a bit of a miss for us.

Neat diner style restaurant with American food, burgers, fries, milkshakes. Burger and fries were cooked perfectly, fries were crispy and not greasy. Had a side salad with one of our meals, for a diner style restaurant it was a surprisingly good salad, had mixed greens, diced tomatoes and onions on top. Great dressing and sauces. Workers were very friendly and helpful and food came out quickly.

Automatically loses 1 star for Coke products. I couldn't help but immediately notice that this place is FILTHY. WOW. This is an Owner / Manager issue because I saw the employees constantly cleaning surface areas. Check out the air vents. So gross. The service was above average. The food was also above average. Really nothing memorable. I just can't get over how dirty it is inside. It's also slightly confusing because there's a counter right in the middle which looks like it belongs back in the kitchen. Weird. Regardless, I won't return.

I usually enjoy the wedge salads here, but the one I had today was just sad (not even a wedge) soggy and kind of gross. It was disappointing enough for me to complain about it, which is a difficult thing for my introverted self to do. They did not offer to fix it for me.
