This place is really fun and interesting to visit. It definitely brings you back to the time when you were little. They also carry a lot of different candies and snacks that you probably can’t find anywhere else. They had German Haribo, and I bought the yogurt flavor — it was really good! We ended up purchasing a bunch of random new things we’ve never seen before, like Yoohoo chocolate and Sriracha chocolate. I actually liked the Yoohoo one a lot, probably one of my favorites. The Sriracha chocolate does have a spicy kick, but just a little. I’d suggest getting a less dark chocolate version

This candy store has everything! I was visiting from Chicago and told my friend that I wanted the classic flat taffy. She immediately knew where to go and recommended this store. It was busy when I entered so I browsed on my own and eventually found the taffy on the bottom shelf of a table. At check out, I was asked if I wanted to buy the whole box or just a few - of course I bought the box. I didn't realize they were for individual sale, but I wanted the whole box. They have good prices and a variety of items to choose from. Highly recommend!

“This place is dangerous!” is what a lady coming out of the store with a bag full of candy told us on our way in. And she was totally right. I had a visitor from Japan who loves Haribo and was looking for the Ginger Lemon flavor, which apparently is only produced in Germany. So we searched online and came across Economy Candy. Considering it’s been around since 1937, I don’t know how I’d never been here before. It is such a fun store! It’s not large, but has floor-to-ceiling shelves and you are surrounded by chocolates and candy. It’s a child’s dream (and possibly for adults, too). I can’t

Visited this candy store on our trip to New York City as it had been mentioned in a TikTok that it was the oldest candy store in the city. It was a small building with so much packed inside. We spent a good amount of time here checking out all the nostalgic candies as well as the imported candies. The back wall is a failure on jelly belly bag. I was personally intrigued with all of the imported snacks there were so many from France. They had their own shelf on the wall Europe it appeared was in the center on the cabinet, and then there were some Asian Oreos and pocky in the same area. If anyon
