An amazing, family-owned custard shop in downtown Hammond! I was eager to stop in after hearing rave reviews and I was blown away. We got the blond monster (vanilla Oreo cookie chunks and cookie dough pieces with vanilla custard) concrete and a blueberry cheesecake concrete and wow! Both were full of crumbles and blueberries, so much more than other ice cream spots. We both ordered small and had enough for two servings. Definitely order smaller than your eyes as servings are HUGE! The flavor is rich and creamy. I can't wait to go back and try more! Update 6/8: We were so blown away by our first visit that we had to come back and try new flavors! This time we tried the Tangi Turtle and Bananas Foster Concrete. It's no wonder the Tangi Turtle is a crowd favorite classic because it is rich, smooth, and filling. The Bananas Foster had a lucious, fresh banana flavor which melded well with the caramel, pecans, and a whisper of cinnamon.

Fun place for custard. They did have a parking lot and there is a small place to eat inside if you want to eat there. We saw a lot of people come in and get custard to go. The servers have great recommendations and are very friendly. The custard was good.

Pretty small in the inside but does offer drive thru as well as outdoor seating. It gives the feel of an old dive bar which i absolutely love. Orders get put in and made very quickly. Overall great experience. The only reason I can't give it a full five stars is because one the bench seating was extremely dirty which brings down your appeal, and two because there isn't a public restroom which to me should be something that is required for a place that sells dairy products. Still love it though.

Had a rude interaction today with a blonde worker. She was rude from the start and when I asked for nachos she said they were out which was fine so I asked TWICE what other food options were available… she looked at me and refused to list off any other items on the menu. Just an unpleasant experience. The custard was good though and the brunette who served it to me was nice & polite.
