Fair Oaks has stood at Mission and Fair Oaks since 1915, on the original Route 66 alignment, and still serves phosphates, egg creams and malts at a marble counter under a pressed-tin ceiling.

I've been coming here for about 3 months now, and I love them! Zahra is the kindest pharmacist I've ever met. Ava is wonderful, and so are Sammy and Brina. I feel very fortunate to know them, and I'm always happy to come back. I think I recently left another review for them, but they were so kind to me and my GF when we saw them yesterday, I just felt like giving them a little more love via Google. ❤️

Great place to visit, been open over 100 years. Ice-cream soda is $10 but shareable.

Fair Oaks Pharmacy (est 1915) is a family owned and the oldest landmark in South Pasadena. It’s a vintage corner shop that offer soda fountain, ice cream, candy, toys, merch & pharmacy shop on Fair Oaks avenue. I have walked past by this shop for years and never actually walk-inside until today. The best place to enjoy a sundae, shake, banana split or simple cone is a vintage soda shoppe. Once you step through the doors at Fair Oaks there is a distinctively different vibe. Staff were energetic and friendly. I’m glad a visited this shop. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and I recommend them.
