Is this the greatest place on earth? Possibly. Spending a getaway vacation in Boise my hotel isn’t too far from Fanci Freez. Needed a little something to cap the night off. Very tasty burger and corn dog and the shakes were delicious. The flavors list is a dictionary long. I don’t know, something so home-y feeling of having a burger and a shake while watching families and groups walking around, enjoying ice cream, seeing the little bit of Boise skyline there is. Oldies on the speakers. Fanci Freez may single handedly move me to Boise.

Writing this review as someone who has been working in food service for 5 years, I'm usually pretty understanding but considering how slow they appear to be there should be no good excuse. Took 20 minutes to start our order with 3 people in line before us each ordering one ice cream cone. Everyone in the drive through who pulled in after we started ordering is gone, and we've been waiting for our 3 shakes for 25 minutes now, and the people who ordered after us already have their shakes. The guy taking our order was very blunt and had 0 customer service, and there is some girl inside with long

Loved my veggie burger and large order of fries. Super cool retro burger stand. Tables for outdoor dining out front, with more located under some very large shade trees nearby.

Just came through to eat here with 3 other people. Right off the bat, answered with “what do you want” in the drive thru. Ordered finger steaks and onions rings as one of the orders Both were burnt and black in color. Asked nicely if they could remake my order and remarked with “are you sure they are even burnt?” I ask nicely if they could remake them because I wasn’t personally happy with eating $50 worth of food and it’s all black as if the oil hasn’t been changed out. When we got our new order of onion rings and finger steaks it was the same issue only now the onion rings was one giant clum
