The store is fine - some nice things representative of the area (my daughter bought some nice earrings) but the real reason to go is the ice cream. Lots of varieties, and the portions are larger than most expect. I ordered a small, thinking it'd be just a taste. I was wrong. It was huge. (I'm glad I didn't get the large, I might have been put into a diabetic coma...and I'm not even diabetic). Don't get me wrong, I ate it and loved every bite (mostly before it melted) it was just more than I thought I'd get.

Quite crowded, but I can see why. The ice cream is delicious and very large for the price. I didn't take too much time looking at the gift shop, but there seemed to be a good selection of touristy items, and lots of freeze dried candy.

We drove through here too late for pizzas. Got sandwiches instead. They were SO good! Got ice cream on our way out. As everyone else has said, the scoops are quite big! And very good indeedy. All the workers are friendly.

It looks empty, but it isn't. A whole bus a kids stopped there for ice cream after us. There is an awesome gift shop and and even better ice cream selection. It has been a area stop point for ice cream for decades. We drove an hour out of our way to meet up with some friends there.
