Ferdinand’s is the quintessential small town creamery, however its following is anything BUT small town! Their cheese is nationally known and their OG Cougar Gold has a cult-like following! (It’s THAT good!). The store itself looks small and has not the best parking, but it does have a tasty variety of flavors on the menu and an observation room to the cheese making process. Feel free to run up to take a look or plan a field trip for something a little more formal! Friendly knowledgeable staff (love living in a college town!), please order from the store itself for cheese or else you’ll be paying way more in the surrounding stores! Update: 3/6/26 It’s my birthday! Free cone with proof of birthday! Excellent large single scoop! Cappuccino chip was fantastic!

Wow! Everyone at work told me how good this place was and it exceeded my expectations. Ice cream was heavenly and the cheese was so so good. I’ve never had cheese like that before! The prices are also so low it’s like stepping into the past. You can get WSU honey here as well, which is cheaper than the visitor center honey. Plenty of easy parking too.

It was good. Good icecream, good cheese and it was nice to see. I liked their observation deck too. It's nice to see how it's made. For me, Chandler and other staff members made this place a lot better. I like when people talk to the customer and is patient and he certainly did all that for me. Thank you.

They make the cheese, and it’s all really good. The observation room is cool to watch them make the cheese, and the ice cream was really good. The prices were good too, and the staff was really nice. I got one that had chocolate and tiny peanut butter cups inside, which was delicious.
