The Story
Fort Davis Drug has been the town's counter since the 1910s — malts and sodas at a mile high, in the middle of the darkest skies in Texas.

I would not stay here again. There is no one here when you get here, check in via access code. Bullet holes through the front window. I wanted to like this place but the floors are very loud and the Internet is awful and slow. It was faster to connect to my phone. I wouldn't take a shower, it's definitely old and not kept up. They have a restaurant but it's closed down. I wish we had stayed somewhere else. It's sketchy as hell.

Good value & 20-something minutes from other nearby attractions. Partly felt like we had the place to ourselves, which I loved. The outside terrace is great for stargazing. Only reason not 5 stars is because would have liked to have food avaliable downstairs. Maybe it's seasonal? Not for Spring Break though. I think businesses in the area should extend their hours for Spring Break season, at least in TX.

The hotel is not maintained. The downstairs area smells like something died. There’s no staff because the drug store is closed & for sale. We arrived late and we stayed the night on Aug 18, 25 All of us were sick the next morning. Emailed the hotel but never heard back.No one else was staying at the hotel. Your reply to my review is dishonest. I emailed the support email twice & Carl’s email. You did not reply until I posted this review. There is no way you didn’t smelled that stench downstairs. Why didn’t you reply?
