Some of the most incredible vegan ice cream I've ever had! I had heard nothing but amazing things about Frankie & Jo's from both vegan and dairy-eating friends alike, so I was _so_ excited when I finally had a chance to try it for myself. It truly lived up to all the hype! The texture is outstanding, and it genuinely doesn't feel like I'm giving up any of the decadence, richness, or smoothness of ice cream by getting the vegan version. The staff is super friendly, patient, and excited to answer any questions or provide samples. They're extremely intentional about allergens (they asked me for any allergies before providing samples, which was great to see), and very knowledgeable about each of their flavors. We sampled the salted pistachio, salty caramel ash pit, and strawberry rhubarb yogurt, all of which were outstanding. I loved the balance of flavors across all three; none were overly sweet and had either a salty or tangy component to help balance out the sugar. We ultimately decided to split a single scoop of the chocolate tahini supercookie, which is _outstanding_. It's hard to describe how incredible the scoop was, but I absolutely loved how flavorful it was. It had a really rich dark chocolate flavor that went wonderfully with the nutty tahini and crunch from the gluten-free cookies. It was perfectly balanced and one of the best vegan ice creams (and one of the best ice creams period) I've had. The space was quite cozy, with artful decorations and text along the back wall explaining the ethos of the local chain. There isn't a ton of seating inside, so I'd expect to either take your ice cream to go or squeeze into one of the standing spaces.

Tried Frankie & Jo’s recently it was a pleasant surprise. We got the Berries & Fermented Cream and Caramel & Coconut Yogurt. The berries one was super fresh and slightly tangy, almost like a mix between ice cream and a really good frozen yogurt, but creamier. The caramel & coconut yogurt was my favorite though. It had this rich, smooth coconut base with a subtle caramel swirl that wasn’t too heavy or sugary. The place itself is chill and the staff were patient while we tried and decided on the flavors. It is on the pricier side for ice cream, but for the quality and ingredients, it feels worth it. We did have about a 15–20 minute wait on a Friday night before it was our turn, so just something to keep in mind if you’re going during peak time.

Small ice cream shop that is filled with love and great service. From the moment you walk in, to the moment you walk out: you feel the dedication and the love the people behind the counter have put into this place. The ice cream menu has every day flavors as well as seasonal flavors like the pineapple key lime and the 10 year best year ice creams. The ice cream is creamy. No lumps or ice bits. They have pints to go as well. You will not be disappointed!!

Absolutely delicious ice cream with a wide variety of flavor offerings. I appreciate that they include both unique options (pine for example) as well as classic flavors (cookies & cream) on their menu. This is the first time I have had the option to have a waffle cone since becoming vegan ~7 years ago. Highly recommend you stop in for some incredible flavor profiles and great texture :)
