For nostalgia this place still hits home for me. I came back to try bubblegum ice cream. They haven't had that flavor in years. It's been a long time since I've been back. I did however get a strawberry ice cream cone and it was really good. The price was nice too. Plenty of places to sit outside.

Garside's Ice Cream has been doing ice cream right since 1955. They have about 25 different flavors and quite remarkably all are homemade. Normally during summer months you'll see a constant flow of people wanting to enjoy their homemade ice cream, and at times the lines can be a bit long. So you ask me, is it worth the wait? Believe me, yes it is!!!

Cool enough for a sweatshirt but warm enough for an ice cream. Garside's is a great stop to top off a beautiful day in the New England foliage! Mint chocolate chip, pumpkin pie with graham cracker crust, and apple pie with caramel sauce pictured.
