We visited Golden Cow Creamery in South End and were excited to try their ice cream. The vanilla and strawberry ice creams were both delicious. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the space itself was clean and inviting. That said, I was hoping to see a wider variety of flavors. I would have loved options like pistachio, lemon, or other fruit-based flavors to make the selection more exciting. While the ice cream we tried was good, the overall flavor lineup didn't quite live up to the hype for me. Overall, it's a nice spot with quality ice cream and great service, but I'd love to see more creative flavor choices in the future.

5/5 ⭐️ Absolutely one of the best milkshakes I’ve had in a while. Super creamy, rich, and honestly tastes like a full-on dessert instead of just a regular shake. The flavor was on point, not overly sweet, and you can tell they don’t cheap out on quality. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in Charlotte. Will 100% be coming back.

Best ice cream ever! This is the second Golden Cow I have been to, and the brand does not disappoint. There are so many unique flavors, like Nutella KitKat and Choclate Dunkaroos. The service is amazing and the atmosphere is so welcoming. When I was there, a woman even said that this was the best ice cream she had ever had. So yummy and great price.

Overrated and overpriced. I got the peaches and cream. It had no flavor and tasted like mediocre vanilla. My husband got the salted Oreo which he said was better.The waffle cone was good. Service was okay. They have a cute little outdoor eating area. Right now you can pay contact less. And people are spaced out waiting to get in.They kind of force you to give them a tip because they ask you verbally instead of letting you mark it yourself using the tablet.
