Upon walking in this establishment one fine day with my African American girlfriend, we realized that this place has been here for centuries, The black and white still photos of times past on the walls show how the place started and is still the same from its earliest days in this old cattle town nestled on the plains of the Missouri river valley. It's such a pleasure to come to Graleys as I live 5 hours away, the small mishaps I have ever encountered were taken care of and I was always treated with respect. Yet here today July 31st I invited two people who have never been and as I'm answering their questions the first individual turns walks away as says something smart to his co worker. I blankety asked, did I do something wrong. The next clerk says no and turns red. As my party of 5 is being helped the entire time I have never felt so unwelcomed. This place is really really good. The late 1800s to early 1900s atmosphere is very charming and a nice reflection of the old America. All treats are made from scratch and taste nothing short of delicious. Been here on multiple occasions and yet to be disappointed. Whether you are coming here for a sweet cold ice cream, an amazing confectionery banana split, a cookie, or a cup of Joe I don’t think you will leave disappointed.

First off, Mr. and Mrs. C are amazing! They do a great job making the place feel "right." The employees are awesome as well -- probably thanks to the training of the Comptons, but also because they're just super friendly and helpful! The ice cream is utterly fantastic, and the options are great: my go-to is a waffle cone (which they make in-house) with three kid's scoops, mixed and matched depending on that day's selection and my mood! I also love doing a brownie sundae, or even a malted milkshake every once in a while. The music they've got playing is super catchy and fun, too. Everything is
