This is the oldest drug store in Hanceville. Still has an old soda fountain shop. Its like a time warp when you walk in to this place. Very nice staff and very helpful with any questions about any of their products.

I had to pay a visit for a client, didn't have to wait too long. Staff were friendly. I had to get a pill splitter also, price was reasonable, better quality than most on walmart.com, Amazon or eBay for the price.

We took the back way from Oktoberfest to Warrior on Saturday, 10-4-2025. My wife's uncle was with us. "Pull over, pull over" all of a sudden. "Y'all want ice cream" as we pulled in front of this establishment. Now I am not the biggest ice cream eater but I went along. Walked into the place and it is like being transported back in time. ALL the memorabilia just for starters. Then items specifically to Hanceville. Just wow! Sit down at the soda fountain not intending to order anything until I saw "milk shake". Now I was intrigued. Wife's uncle said he would have a strawberry on a waffle cone. I immediately said strawberry milk shake and my wife said 'same. I am 66 years old and this might have have the best milk shake of my life. Thick and rich. My wife loved hers, too. Uncle had been there many times and knew what to expect. Now selling something isn't that hard BUT customer service is hard to come by these days. The two young women behind the counter were as nice as they could be. Joking around with us. Very laid back. All at the same time being so professional you didn't even realize it due to their outstanding attitude. They were an absolute pleasure to be around. We live in Maylene and are already planning a road trip to take my mother for the sole reason of getting a milk shake. To the owner-you have a gem of a place!

HANCEVILLE DRUGS IS THE BEST DRUGSTORE EVER!!! Nothing better than a local drugstore with that hometown feeling when you go in anytime they are open!! Very friendly!!! I can’t say anything bad about this drugstore or the people that work there!!! Everyone is always friendly there!!!!
