If you have even one sweet-lover in your group, this is the place to be. This candy store is packed from front to back with every sugary treat you can imagine—caramel apples and pears, creamy homemade fudge, roasted nuts, brittles, and so much more. Watching the staff work is half the fun, and the line moves along as everyone eagerly points, samples, and orders. They even offer free samples of different brittles (which were absolutely delicious). The smell alone - warm chocolate, caramel, and sugar - pulls you right in. From hand-dipped chocolates and truffles to slabs of fresh fudge in every flavor imaginable, it truly feels like a classic old-school candy shop experience. Honestly, everyone in your group will find something they love here - I can promise you that!

This could’ve been 4 stars, but unfortunately the people working here were not very welcoming or helpful. The lady packing our selections couldn’t describe the difference between any candies, stating that she had never tried them. We couldn’t get a smile out of her no matter what. The candy is very pricey and some of it did not taste as great as I imagined, but it is very fun to sample the different types. Just be prepared because even the tiniest candy’s are almost $2 a piece. Candy pictured was $100 worth. They do give some samples of larger things like fudge and brittle. *I personally recommend going to the other Hansel and Gretel, the one that is more inland. The employees there were much more enthusiastic and helpful. And also, take pictures of the candy so you remember what it’s called later on!
