This was our first time at a Happy Joes and it won't be our last. All the staff members seemed to enjoy their job and were very friendly. Ordering was easy as you order at the counter. Food took a little longer but it was busy. Kids were occupied with the games and some notebooks they brought. Our appetizer we ordered was the garlic cheese bread. So cheesy and good. We got this first. We got the pan style pizza. The crust was pretty thick, very close to a deep dish pizza. Texture was good, sauce was perfect, not acidic line some pizza places and the cheese blend was amazing. We will be trying

We brought a group of boys here after a baseball game and had the best time! Boys had fun playing games, food came out fast and was great pizza! Ice cream to finish it off was perfect!

Cute classic decor, a few arcade games for kids, love the window with the step so kids can watch the pizzas being made. Pizza was good too. Lots of meat on the meatlovers and even the crust was good.

My family and I have been to a couple of Happy Joe’s in Dubuque, but it had been several years since our last visit. While we were driving through the area, we decided to stop for lunch. Of the locations we’ve been to, this is our favorite. We like the atmosphere and the general look, like a bit of a carnival feel. It’s fun, and frequently during your meal, you’ll hear a honking noise, which we’ve come to learn means someone is celebrating a birthday. And often, the other patrons join in signing a round of “Happy Birthday!” The pizza is good with plenty of toppings. We ordered the lunch spec
