The Story
Driving down Bowman Dairy Road, the sight of Homeland Creamery's welcoming porch promised a sweet respite from the everyday hustle. Inside, the charm of a bygone era mingled with the tempting aroma of fresh dairy, inviting you to linger and soak it all in. Each spoonful of their rich, creamy ice cream felt like a little taste of wholesome Americana, made with care right from the farm.

This was recommended to us while we were staying at a local farm. Tasty ice cream! There was a shaded picnic table across the road where we watched the cows while finishing our ice cream. We plan on returning tomorrow to pick up some local milk.

The ice cream and milk are delicious. It takes about 20 ‘minutes for me and my family to get there and went for the third time. You will love the chocolate milk. Tastes exactly like their chocolate ice cream. The creamery has a mini playground for the kiddos and a tire swing. Our experience was so much fun! Highly recommend

I liked the ice cream just fine. It had no ice crystals which a pet peeve of mine. But the butter we brought home is the star of the show. Imagine that on a slab of sourdough bread, which we also bought. Sausage and buttermilk will be tried Saturday morning. Must have been an off day for the staff, as my husband and I commented on their lack of engagement at about the same time.

It was my first visit to the creamery. I purchased the eggnog, which my husband loved. The sourdough bread was the best bread I ever had. The butter pecan ice cream was soft creamy and delicious, I enjoyed two scoops of ice cream on the way home. The young lady who was at register was very nice and helpful and welcoming.
