The Story

Ice Cream Social sits where Tacoma's waterfront walk meets Point Defiance, which makes it the natural last stop of any day out there — floats, cones and a bench in the sun.

Nice price and amazing portions! The flavors are all natural, some a part of their permanent menu and they have several rotating/seasonal. This location is spectacular. There is a movie theater, spa, delicious restaurants, a farmers market and the waterfront all in a walking distance. Don't skip this area! We were able to rent some quad sport carts and pedal up and down the coast, great exercise and super enjoyable. You can see Mt. Rainer beautifully from this area. Get some ice cream and enjoy the view!

Very very yummy! The peanut butter brownie & Valhalla coffee were amazing. Not as expensive as I thought it was going to be (roughly $37 for 4 cones, two with double scoops). Though be mindful that they don’t accept cash. We did ask for kids cones for the kiddos but we were given adult sized cones for them

I appreciate that you can split a single scoop into two flavors (costs $0.50 extra). They have the usual flavors like chocolate and vanilla, in addition to some interesting ones, such as almond poppyseed and roasted banana. The Valhalla Coffee is the best coffee-flavored ice cream I've ever had in my entire life.
