I usually drop $50 or more in this store with my kids, nephews and nieces. They told my 7 year old and 5 year old nephew that they weren't allowed to touch the lids. A minute later a couple comes in with their dog, the dog proceeds to lick multiple lids and sticks it's mouth in the water melon ball container and takes one. The couple didn't spend any money in the store. I'm never dropping a penny in this store again, atleast not the Gaithersburg location.

IT'SUGAR at Washingtonian Center is a candy lover's paradise! This specialty store offers a delightful array of candies, sweets, and novelty items. The selection of nostalgic treats and oversized candies is sure to bring back fond memories. They have oversized lollipop! The store has ample parking space available in front, which makes it convenient to visit. By the way your dentist will not be happy if he/she knows you were there. Anyway, it's worth noting that the prices at IT'SUGAR can be on the steep side. While the unique and fun items are certainly tempting, be prepared for a higher price tag. If you're looking for similar sweets at more affordable prices, I would recommend checking out Target down the street, which offers a good variety of candies and treats. Overall, IT'SUGAR is a fantastic spot for candy enthusiasts, offering a whimsical and enjoyable shopping experience. Just keep in mind the pricing, and if you're on a budget, consider exploring alternative options like Target for your sweet tooth cravings.

Overpriced candy but staff is always welcoming. Would I go again? I don't know.. 3 to 4 dollars for a box of bubble gum cigarettes probably not.

This place takes the saying “a kid in a candy store“ to a whole new meaning. I loved every moment there. I bought some candy for my kids, and they were so excited to see the place for themselves over the phone. I have to go back soon.
