Anyone who knows me knows I’m a hot dog freak. I’ll drive far and wide for a really great hot dog, but thankfully Jeff & Maria’s Ice Cream and Hot Dogs in Groveland is only about five minutes from my house. Just look at these beauties. Perfectly toasted buns, hot dogs with an incredible sear, and flavor that keeps me coming back time and time again. I can’t say enough great things about Jeff himself. He runs a fantastic business, always greets everyone with a smile, and has built a tremendous following on social media. The care and attention that goes into every order is obvious. These aren’t just hot dogs thrown on a grill. They’re cooked with love and pride, and it shows in every bite. On this visit, I was simply driving by when I felt my mouth start to water. Before I knew it, I had pulled in for the Triple Dog Special, and once again it did not disappoint. The buns were perfectly toasted with just the right amount of buttery crispness, the hot dogs had an amazing snap and a beautiful char, and everything was cooked exactly the way I like it. Now don’t get me wrong. The Richardson’s Ice Cream and Ritchie’s slush they serve is absolutely delicious, especially during the heat wave we’ve been having. But if you ask me to choose between a cone and one of Jeff’s hot dogs, I’m taking the hot dogs every single time. I’d happily endure the heat for these any day. If you love hot dogs, or you’re looking for some outstanding Richardson’s Ice Cream, Jeff & Maria’s is a place you need to visit. It’s one of my favorite local businesses, and every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. Do yourself a favor and check them out. You won’t be disappointed!

The best! Great grilled cheese, hot dogs with the best buns, awesome chili dogs, and great ice cream. Great environment. Amazing staff. Jeff and his crew are awesome, friendly, and attentive workers. Much respect. Thank you!

Worth the 1 hr drive!!! Not just a dog, a phenomenal dog. Not just a sundae but a phenomenal peanut butter wizard.... And the popup smash burger (before they ran out... Wowsa! Personally love when the hype lives up to it! Bucket list ✓
