Right next to a state park with ample parking and outdoor seating with delicious reasonable price ice cream. Even had my favorite flavor of Gifford's.

I asked for a large soft serve chocolate cone. And what they handed me was absolutely incredible. A gigantic twisting chocolate ice cream cone that was piled up high and straight. With the cost of everything these days, I don't know how they're doing it with servings that size lol. It was my first time here on my way through on motorcycle and I loved the seating area, with the hosts (free range chickens) running around making sure all the food bits were properly dispose of. The owner stopped by and we had a chat about the place and other small talk. Very nice stop today for me. Will be back !! Thanks Mr Joe for chatting with me.

The cutest little spot. So many flavors of ice cream. Loved my peanut butter pie! Staff was very friendly.

The Jefferson Scoop is hands down one of the best ice cream shops around. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place is a must stop. The flavors are always fresh and delicious, with something for everyone, from the classics to unique seasonal specials. The staff is friendly, the portions are generous, and the whole place has that perfect small town charm. You can really tell they care about quality and community. I can’t recommend it enough!
