Okay, I really, really adored Jeni’s Ice Cream. I love the texture and fullness of their ice cream, idk what it is. The chocolate peanut butter was to die for. I was in Washington, D.C. for two nights and you bet I had Jeni’s both nights. HOWEVER, I must say… paying $8–9 for “two half scoops,” which is basically a single scoop of ice cream, is wild. Hence only 4 stars. Otherwise it would be an easy five for me!

"Can't buy me love but you can buy me ice cream". Prompt service (well, it's ice cream after all). It is open late, so it's a place to satisfy dessert cravings after a late dinner or a long walk through the streets of Washington, DC. A little bit pricey but the quality is high.

Ridiculously good ice cream, homemade cones, with a ton of flavors and fantastic staff. This shop was my first experience with Jeni’s Ice Cream and by far the gold standard for a wonderful scoop experience. There’s a ton of unique flavors, every one of them as intense and creamy as the last. The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly, eager to give tastes so you can find your new favorite. My go to is a regular size Sea Salt Caramel and Salted Peanut Butter on a waffle cone, and holy cow it’s good. There’s a few benches outside, a counter with stools on the first floor, and a whole second floor of tables and chairs. It’s an absolute must to give it a try.

Ice cream is great as always but this practice experienced yesterday is not. Went around 11:45PM, waited on line, all for them to tell us one by one that only on freezer was available to pull ice cream from because the other was too melted? Then when we would pick flavors from the one freezer on the spot, the employees would tell us some ice creams were too low to choose from? Jeni’s has maybe about 30 flavors and they made us pick from about 5 on the spot after waiting in line for 10 minutes thinking we could get anything. To conclude, I wish they changed the board or put up a sign so people weren’t waiting thinking more was available.
