The Story
On the Turquoise Trail between Santa Fe and Albuquerque, Madrid turned coal-camp buildings into galleries. Jezebel pairs its art rooms with a genuine soda fountain — the best stop on the drive.

The ice cream was delicious and definitely worth stopping by for. We tried the salted caramel shake and the rocky road ice cream, and both were really good with great flavor and texture. The salted caramel shake was rich and creamy, while the rocky road had a good mix of chocolate, marshmallow, and nuts. The customer service was also friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. Overall, it’s a nice spot to grab a sweet treat and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere.

Stop by for a unique beverage at the soda fountain. They have a huge selection and the staff gives helpful recommendations. Sugar free options too! Never heard of egg cream soda, but I tried the chocolate flavored one and it was delish! Also tried orange phosphate soda. Tangy and tasty.

This came up quite a bit when researching what we should do along the Turquoise Trail. The soda shop is tucked away in the back of the main shop that sells stuff. I ordered a shake and my husband got the jalapeno poppers. Both were pretty decent, nothing super special, but they hit the spot for a quick snack while walking down the street. The staff here were absolutely delightful. Both ladies were very nice and kept up with the busy crowd. The place I feel is definitely more experience than fantastic food, but I think it's still definitely worth stopping and checking it out.
