The place is clean and cozy, and the ice cream is all made in-house and SO GOOD. The people were also very nice while we were ordering; they gave us free samples and generous portions once we placed our order. This was the perfect place to stop by during the summer.

Has to be the most refreshing gelato/ice cream I've had in a long time. I had the sherbet and it was flavorful and light. My daughter had chocolate raspberry and it was just like eating frozen chocolate covered fruit. My dad had the chocolate bourbon and he was incredibly happy with his choice. He absolutely loves ice cream and I think this will be a regular place on his list to visit and get his fair share! If you get the chance to stop in, you absolutely should... You will NOT be disappointed. The team welcomes you with a warm smile and helli, ready to let you try any and all flavors if you like. James was very kind to share their story and show me a bit more of the place. It didn't take long for me to realize this place is something special. They have plans in the works to open additional locations in Lexington and Gatlinburg. I will certainly try to be the first in line!

The ice cream is amazing at Joe Brett's! I tried the Peach Gelato which was really delicious. I sampled the Butter Pecan Bourbon (so good), the Peach Whiskey (good also) and the Raspberry Tequila Sorbet (not a fan of this one). What I ended up getting was Espresso and Butter Pecan without the Bourbon. You have to try this place. Delicious!!! I can't wait to return!

After a Sunday dinner with family at a nearby restaurant, we had a sudden craving for good ice cream, and were pleased to find this place. Although they’re known for their alcohol ice cream, they also have many regular flavors - and thankfully so, as we had our kids who were eager to try their mint chocolate chip. I tried the Spanish Peanut Butter Gelato and also the Espresso, both of which were out of this world. This company makes their ice cream on site, using real cream rather than milk. They also plan to open additional stores in Gatlinburg, TN and Destin, FL soon.
