  I’ve been a regular customer at this location because I genuinely enjoy the food, but unfortunately my last few visits have been increasingly disappointing. On one visit, I was told by the kitchen manager that the restaurant was closed, even though the location was open another 45 minutes to an hr. On another visit, the kitchen had already stopped cooking or had been closed for something specific so I wasn’t able to order. My most recent visit was the worst. The cashier didn’t have enough change to make my correct change and attempted to short me because her drawer didn’t have the proper change. While it was only a small amount, customers should always receive the correct change or more than not less. I ordered my usual chicken sandwich and a side of potatoes. While waiting, I watched the cook remove his glove, stick his bare hand into a jar of jalapeños, grab them with his fingers, and place them into a soufflé cup. That was completely unsanitary and unacceptable. When the jalapeños were handed to me, I declined them and explained why. Proper food handling practices are essential in any restaurant. The food quality was also nowhere near what I’ve come to expect. The potatoes were soggy instead of crispy, my chicken sandwich was falling apart, and the overall presentation and taste were noticeably different from previous visits. I even uploaded a photo comparing what I normally receive to what I was served this time, and the difference is significant. I’m not sure if there’s been a change in staff or if the new employees simply haven’t been properly trained, but there are some major opportunities for coaching. From food safety and preparation standards to customer service and cash handling, this location has declined noticeably. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because this used to be one of my favorite places to eat, and I’d love to see it return to the quality and consistency it once had.

  Got ice cream at Kaisers and it was such a cute little shop. There was a wide variety of ice cream flavors and toppings, and the ice cream was very high quality. I highly recommend the mint chocolate chip! The employee Talon was very personable and friendly. Nice place to go when in Midtown!

  Don’t sleep on Kaiser’s—this place is the real deal. After multiple failed attempts to eat here (long story involving a new car and their Monday closure 😳🤦‍♂️), we finally made it in—and wow, was it worth the wait. We arrived around 1:00 PM, just after the lunch rush. I ordered the Pastrami on Sourdough Rye w/potato salad and it was outstanding. The bread was the star—perfectly toasted, flavorful, and held up beautifully. Extra brown mustard sealed the deal. I somehow missed the Reuben on my first pass (no idea how), but that just guarantees a return visit. My wife ordered a burger, and after one bite I knew I had made a mistake not ordering it myself. Absolute burger heaven. The bun was fantastic and everything came together perfectly. The staff was equally impressive. Alberto took our order—quiet, friendly, and efficient. The chef personally delivered our food, checked back in, and when I mentioned missing the Reuben, he smiled and said, “I’ll see you tomorrow.” Another gentleman (a consultant) stopped by, chatted with us, and let us know they sell their bread. There was one loaf left near the register—we grabbed it immediately. Dessert was a must. We shared two scoops—Pecan Pie and Dulce de Leche—and ended up swapping because we liked each other’s better. And then there’s the jukebox—a beautiful, old-school machine loaded with songs from the 60s. Completely free play. Even though the overhead music made it hard to hear, I had to press the buttons just to watch the records get pulled from the stack and played. Pure nostalgia. Ahhhh… the good old days. Great food, great people, and a fun, nostalgic vibe. Kaiser’s is absolutely worth the visit—and we’ll be back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  I was looking for a close place to eat lunch while my wife was in the hospital and saw Kaiser’s right around the corner in walking distance. I ordered a burger and tots with a chocolate a shake. This reminded me of the old fashioned malt shops that I grew up with the milkshake and the burger and tots were excellent. Would highly recommend if you are in midtown area of OKC.
