    The Ice cream is udderly delicious. The fudge is fantastic. Definitely worth a stop on our adventure thru Iowa. Great find.

    I was in town for a job and as I was leaving I saw a gigantic sign for "cheese curds" so, of course, I stopped. It's like an old-fashioned grocery store with a bit of old-school production machinery sprinkled throughout. After sampling a few things, I bought a bag of cheese curds and some ice cream. Everything was great! Love the food items and the merch here. The staff was also great! It's obviously a hot tourist spot because travelers kept popping in! You can satisfy all of your hometown dairy needs here!

    Visited in November. Great workers. Great curds. . They do make the place a fun stop. Unfortunately I will not be returning due to their management treatment of a loyal young man. People travel to this place to work by 4am to produce product for a low wage in the subzero temps without complaint for years only to be let go for no reason other than management cannot do their job. I will miss the curds, but will not support a company like that. 2 stars for the curds. FL

    I've been visiting the Kalona Creamery over many decades. It's evolved over the years and keeps getting better. In addition to their own wonderful selection of cheese and dairy products, they have a great selection of local foods. In creating partnerships with local producers, they are empowering the community. An example is their Mocha Cold Brew made with Capanna Cold Brew and Kalona Supernatural Whole Milk. Very delicious. The Kalona area is home to a diverse community. It's nice to see people working together to create such wonderful products and a thriving economy.
